There is a dead spot at Kell High School with Verizon Wireless. On my Samsung a950 It constantly fluxuates between 1 to zero bars, but it always says Verizon wireless, so I know I can make calls.

Once you've passed the jr. high and are coming up on West Side Elementary, you can kiss your reception GOODBYE! As a parent of an elementary student, I'd like to know that I could call out while visiting the school if necessary. Nope! It's like I fell into a hole while in that area.

We used to get 5 bars when we had Nokia Phones back in 2000. When we did switch to Motoral in 2004, we had 4-5 bars for a few months. Currently, we get 2-3 bars. If we're in church, I'll loose reception, but get voicemail & / or text msgs. Odd. But I love TMobile.

I have had Cingular wireless for about a year now. I only get about 2 bars in my house and when I go out of town in the rural parts of tennessee, I will roam off of T-Mobile sometimes. I believe that I get better coverage when roaming that when I use cingulars network. Will be switching to Verizon Wireless becuase they have alot better coverage. My 58 year old dad has Verizon and get better coverage than cingular. If you read this go to Verizon Wireless. I have four phone on my family plan. I play about $170.00 for four phones with no addit. options no internet text messageing. Or anything of that nature. That taxt you "out the wazoo" so be carful when signing with a GSM carrier. They also have more static on there lines that a CDMA carrier does... GO WITH VERIZON!!

Coverage is great. Was using T-Mobile for the last 4 1 / 2 yrs, but it was time for a change and gave Sprint a try again and so far coverage is the same as it was with T-Mobile, haven't found any trouble spots for coverage in the ATL metro area.

I tried both T-Mobile and Cingular, but neither of them would work reliably in my area, especially inside my home. Sprint PCS is usable in every area I've tried it and I don't lose connections. I only get 2 bars of reception at home, but it's stable and usable unlike T-Mobile and Cingular were. I also had problems with lack of coverage in other areas of Atlanta with T-Mobile.

My phone loses connectivity when near the low bridge that often overflows when we have a lot of rain. There have been times that I have passed by the exact spot while on the phone and never lost my phone call either. Strange!

Cingular is the worst. I have an employee plan, formorly AT&T but Cingular changed me and now I pay more, get terrible signal and a lot of lame excuses from customer service. Bottom line, they lie to sign you up and don't have quality service where I live and that's where I need my phone. I think I'll pay to get out of their trap and move to Verizon.William Harris.

Reception throughout metro Atlanta is spotty at best; In West Cobb it's nearly non-existent. Forget getting a signal anywhere near Kennesaw Mountain Park. Frequently dropped calls.

I live near here and I used to have problems all the time with my other phone. Now that I bought a new Razer I have not had a single dropped call or an unclear call - I guess it has a better transmitter? Regardless, I am very impressed with my cell phone service now! I talk to my husband who has the same phone I used to have and it sounds aweful, but if I call someone from the same spot with my new phone my call is great!

We're in a valley stuck in between the tower at Lassiter HS and the tower at Sweat Mountain Park on Steinhauer Rd. Broadband Access is finally here, but there are no bars on the VZ Access Manager antenna.
