We can sometimes get 2 bars if we go outside. Gee, what fun, standing out in the rain to talk on the phone. Had great coverage last place we lived (CA), but now I have to seriously consider changing providers as our cell phones are practically useless.

Generally OK for voice, poor for Mobile Broadband. Usually 1 bar, sometimes 0. I tried the Vcast Pak, service was so bad I dropped it. Also tried a new phone, the Env Touch, but no improvement, so I returned it. Now thinking of changing carriers.

Fluctuates between 0-no reception and 1-poor reception. When 3g is on, it always stays on 3g no matter how bad a reception there is. Family also has a Blackberry which usually has 1 or 2 bars.

Only way I can make a call is with a wi-fi phone and it goes in and out and drops every call. Better than nothing I guess...

T-Mobile Lacks in Signal Coverage. Very Dead in certain Places in EC or Marietta. Their Connectivity with RIM and BlackBerry Products not only won't let you make calls but it runs haywire with very unstable software and your applications will act on their own. A friend called me and said you just text'd me 24 times in the last 2 minutes... I hadn't used the phone yet that morning... Drop Call, Call Failed, Network Busy or Unavailable, Searching for Network and Cheer, aloud, when you get a single bar to show up... That Is My Experience with T-Mobile- If you enjoy the above Challlenges and Only need your phone to operate as a Calculator or Camera- (no texting pictures either) Then Go with T-Mobile in this area. I went to ATT / Cingular and it is as clear and dependable as my LandLine Home phone... fyi

Just moved out here a month ago and have no service with my T-mobile. I can't get call in my apartment, only text. Outside the reception goes up to 2 bars. And that's it. I've been in this place for a month and can only communicate on my cell phone using text messaging... if it actually will send out. I've been with T-Mobile 3 years, and never once had a problem. But now I can't use my phone. They are making me buy a phone that connects through a cable modem to see if that will fix the signal issues before they will let me out of my contract. They said they have sent engineers as they know they need two more towers in this area. Verizon does not work too well out here either. I'm at the bottom of Kennesaw Mountain so I'm sure it's an issue.

I switched from AT&T (Cingular) to T-Mobile because of up to 19 dropped calls in one day. In 2006, T-Mibile reception was generally good (2-4 bars). However, in all of 2007, reception has become 0 to 1. This area is simply awful.

Awful reception, even outside in yard.Verizon tech came and tested, and confirmed"lousy".They have a new tower in area.Follow up call from Verizon said I could terminate since it was a Verizon fault... but that I could not take my # to another carrier. When I protested she hung up on me.I will be leaving them after many years!Neighbors have same problem.

I have had FOUR different phones with Cingular and gone through numerous firmware and sim card changes- the coverage just sucks. I am constantly getting full bars up until the time I hit send. Then I drop to no bars or just one. Also, I am always having problems with dropped calls or more often being unable to complete calls with network busy or call failed errors.
