My AT&T service is totally useless here! They said they were bringing on a new tower Oct 18, 2011 and it would improve reception, but my cell phone is totally unusable at my house.

Zero reception. Over the years, we've had countless guests and family members visit who use AT&T. No one has ever been able to even get one bar. Ridiculous. Verizon is only slightly better.

Almost impossible reception in house (lots of dropped calls) decent in most of Newnan, strong in many areas, poor in many areas.

Generally no reception at home (southwest of Lower Fayetteville and Newnan Crossing Bypass). Occasionally can call out if on 2nd floor, north side of house, but very poor reception.

Very poor reception Front-back-upstairs etc... Terrible

Driving home, sometimes an active call will maintain reception to the above intersection, then drop out, but there is no signal and no calls can be made or received within about a 1 mile radius. ATT, Sprint, Nextel all have the same issue, don't know about Verizon or T-Mobile.

abysmal, signal will vary from 1 to 5 then back to 2 or 3 bars, will be at the airport(ATL) and will have no 3g and barely 1 bar of edge. call customer service and they state (it's the interference from the radio waves at the airport) BS! it would only interfere if they were the same frequency and channel. Besides i've received more dropped calls since the 'merger' than I did with sprint! Verizon here I come.

Works sometimes but in Overby Park Townhomes you have to walk in the middle of the street to get even one bar

Cingular phones have worked fine since I first got service in 2001.

Usually no signal. May get lucky and get half a call in.

I am unable to make any call through out lower Fayetteville. I either get 0-1 bars of receptions

in lake redwine in northwest coweta county the only cell service that one can use is with cinqular. There is a cinqular tower just other side of dam on the northwest side of lake coweta. Works everywhere I have been in atlanta area. We had T-Mobile and Sprint with no reception here.

while you are within city limits reception is average, but once that you drive out of city limits there is no reception at all. only 7 months to go, can't wait to dicht this one and go with Verizon if Cingular does't do anything about soon

Works some outside, but almost never in the house.

Lake Redwine Plantation off of Happy Valley Circle in Newnan. No signal at all throughout the subdivision using Sprint.

Works fine in town, only one bar at best on Cottage Drive. Coverage map on T Mobile website shows full signal - this is not true!

I use my cell phone as my home phone also. I have to go outside on my porch to get good enough reception to have a conversation. Very frustrating!

It works in town but not in the boonies.

Phone works well from Newnan Ga to Albany GA. But as soon you get off the beaten path forget it! Surprisingly it works well in Newnan as long you are close to the Interstates. Works well in All the way from Tifton to Ft. Myers, FL.

For years, Verizon was the only option in SummerGrove. Summergrove is an AT&T dead zone. Had pretty decent reception with Verizon for the last 5 years with only occasional issues until Sept 2011. Not sure what's happened but at least 50% of my calls drop and I never know when I can get a line out. Incredibly frustrating that one can't use a cell phone with any reliability from any provider in Newnan, the fastest growing area in GA and an Atlanta suburb. Verizon Cust Svc told me SummerGrove is a "marginal" area that will continue to be problematic and offered to let me void my contract. I asked why it's a problem now when I've had good service for so many years and they said the tower is probably overburdened - more subscribers equals worse service. This area of the country seems to be a huge missed opportunity for a cell phone carrier. Not to mention for Comcast cable as NuLink is even worse than the cell phone companies.
