For years, Verizon was the only option in SummerGrove. Summergrove is an AT&T dead zone. Had pretty decent reception with Verizon for the last 5 years with only occasional issues until Sept 2011. Not sure what's happened but at least 50% of my calls drop and I never know when I can get a line out. Incredibly frustrating that one can't use a cell phone with any reliability from any provider in Newnan, the fastest growing area in GA and an Atlanta suburb. Verizon Cust Svc told me SummerGrove is a "marginal" area that will continue to be problematic and offered to let me void my contract. I asked why it's a problem now when I've had good service for so many years and they said the tower is probably overburdened - more subscribers equals worse service. This area of the country seems to be a huge missed opportunity for a cell phone carrier. Not to mention for Comcast cable as NuLink is even worse than the cell phone companies.

Verizon works great, better then AT&T and t mobile. Been there tried them.

Never had a problem in Newnan and on local roads. Always at least 2-3 bars.

If at the Verizon store in newnan... excellent service, travel one mile past the store into the summergrove subdivision and nothing. I can start a conversation but then the call signal will fail and the call will be lost. Talk with customer care and they say its the phone... I've replaced it 4 times now... are you sure?

There is not good reception near the Brighton Farm Apts. Only one bar. Seems to be better than about 3 years ago.

A year ago there were spots where phone would go in and out, I guess they fixed that and is perfect now. Even saved my life when a horse attacked me in the middle of nowhere out there I called for help.

One bar usually and occasional no signal. Found tower on off Happy Valley circle. 4 bars directly underneath the tower. At the driveway one bar. Crappy signal. Complained to Verizon. They said they will try to do something.
