AT&T is the worst. I barely ever have any service, so the phone doesn't even ring. And forget going online.

No reception in my living room-this account changed to Verizon when they bought out Alltel- through 4 phones same result-no issue with Alltel-on any phone-10 year account... now with Verizon, my VM / txts don't update sometimes for a week, if the phone does not ring the result of an incoming call will be in question... Verizon has told m,e several times it is not their equipment, yet I have tried four phones from Motorola, Samsung, LG and HTC-all have the same issues and the one commonality is verizons equipment... Odd that Alltell never gave me any of these issues... granted the migration from Analog to digital service was right after the move from Altell to Verizon...

I have never had a dropped call since I got my Droid x2, either in Savannah or when travelling through mid-Georgia. However, I have only had this phone for a few months. I sometimes have difficulty understanding the caller's voice; I'm not sure if this is a problem with the phones or with the service.

When we switched from Nokia phones to IPHONE 3g's, the reception was horrible. AT&T did an investigation of my compalint and said it was not their problem. I hate ATT

NO RECEPTION IN BUILDING! NO 4G SERVICE IN SAVANNAH! Yet are QUICK to sell you a 4G phone... PISSED!

While reception is poor on the east side on Wilmington Island (5-6-2011) this is an improvement over NO RECEPTION. Sprint seems to be making slight improvements in the area Virgin Mobile does not allow roaming. Wish they would allow that for a cost. Virgin Mobile neither works as well or cost as much as Verizon. Excellent provider of Low Cost Cell

At&t is horrible here. I routinely have 15 minute calls dropping 3-4 times. It always shows full bars though somehow. At&t shouldn't even advertise as having service here.

No Signal indoors at all. VM does not allow roaming hence if you can't see a Sprint tower you will have poor reception.

No reception inside, I have to leave the phone in one area in my house to get it to receive a cell. Then I have to go outside if I want to answer. Also bad reception at Gulfstream. Can answer a call, but it will drop within 10-15 seconds.

1-2 bars in my house. Constant dropped calls. I have to stand in one corner of my bedroom where I get decent reception to make all my calls otherwise it's a wrap. I called Sprint about it, they claim I should have good reception over here. Meanwhile the rest of my family is on T-Mobile and they aren't encountering this problem at all.

Spotty signal at best. Still no EV-DO service here. Shot off an email to Sprint and they said they were still deploying EV-DO to certain areas of their network. However they would not comment on where they were currently settting up EV-DO nor would they give a timeline for EV-DO in the Savannah area. Brunswick, a tiny town about 80 miles south has EV-DO coverage yet the Savannah metro area pop,~300,000 still does not have it. I am curious as to why.

When first moved here (3 years ago), was great. For last year and one half, service is spotty. Calls to customer service have not resulted in any improvement of service or customer satisfaction. Visited southeast PA last week. Even though website indicated that service was there, I could not find it!

Reception is acceptable. But we still do not have EVDO data from Sprint. It seems like all other providers in this area already have high speed data and Sprint seems to be the only holdout. Wonder when they will get around to this?

I live on Wilmington Island and have had SPRINT for nearly 10 years. NO PROBLEMS anywhere in Savannah, or my home. However, I would rate it a 4.7 because there are DEAD ZONES here and there. But it's like for 1 second crossing the Thunderbolt Bridge, or things like that. Works great! I'd go nuts if I was you guys. Hope you're not under contract.

0 bars in selected areas of Mayfair. 5 bars within 500 feet. We are in the center of numerous towers according to AT&T support. We need a tower or a change that will reach the hole in the donut.

On Whitemarsh Island and get little to no reception on my phone inside or outside of the apartment. It is an older phone, but fiance's brand new phone doesn't do much better than this one.

Great reception in and around Savannah area and the islands.

There is no consistency - have been told the further east I go it would get fewer bars, but I never have a problem at Tybee (can't go further east than that), Wilmingon Island (home) is sketchy. Those I know who have Verizon get reception when no other phone in the vicinity does. Have 5 AT&T phones, one by one, as contracts expire, will switch.

Get reception with Verizon. I never have any problems and they also have great customer service.

We have 2 cell phones and a wireless card, none of which get reception in our new home. We had problems getting reception in apartments on the island, too.
