I have a good signal most places around Smyrna except the street I live on off of Pat Mell. I have 1 bar if I am lucky when at home and calls drop constantly. I get slightly better reception with my old Nokia but not much.

Typically excellent coverage throughout Smyrna except in one small patch along Atlanta Road. Love it!

I generally can keep calls going inside, but occasionally calls are dropped, and sometimes the phone does not ring when people call me. I'll get a voice mail a few minutes later. Come on Sprint, you can do better!

Fantastic service. To the user with the K750i: your issue with reception is that your phone does not operate off of the correct frequency used by Cingular in this area. Your phone uses 900MHz / 1800MHz / 1900MHz. Cingular operates off of 850MHz. The little big of 1900MHz that Cingular does have is from the small part of ATT Wireless that is still functioning. Your service would be poor because that frequency is being done away with. If you want your K750i to pick up slightly better service in the US, switch it to TMobile.

I have no issues in Smyrna. I have been able to use my phone through out this area as well as all of North Metro Atlanta. Those who are having problems need to either update their phones (i.e. users still using a Nokia 5165- hello! technology has changed! get a new phone!) Those of you with newer phones such as the LG1200 and the Sony Ericsson 616. Check with your local Cingular store and have them update your SIM card to a new 64K smartcard. You will thank me and your reception will improve.

Almost no recption anywhere in this area, from the Panera bread all the way a mile or so north of Atlanta Rd. / Paces Ferry. I'm looking to change carriers when my contract runs out at the end of this year - I had to purchase a regular phone line just to stay in touch with people when I am at home.

Phone works ok outside, but go in any building- in particular my house and reception disappears. I spend most of my conversations on my lawn. This will suck come winter. Reception in house was better when it was AT&T's TDMA network- but sucked everywhere else.

I've never had cell phone reception as bad as I do in my new apt. I've lived in Iowa and Texas and had no problems... now I might have to get rid of my cell service because nothing comes in.

Driving around Smyrna, I never lose reception and have pretty good signals. In my house, reception is spotty at best.

I really never have a problem with reception at my home, but my wife needs to stand in certain spots to carry on a conversation.
