Reception in our home at Norris Lake has been ZERO since beginning service with Cingular in Sept 2003 which precludes emergency contact should the land line fail. My children visit with their Verizon coverage and have no difficulty. We use our cellfone primarily for travel; it is seldom on in the Atlanta area. Away from home reception has been generally good to include such locations as Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We are considering a switch to Verizon to insure home coverage.

Cingular has got to get its act together. More bars in more places... seems their engineers spend more time in bars than working on reception issues. My Blackberry drops at least 50% of all incoming and outgoing calls. There usually is a dead silence and then 3 loud beeps follow. Stone Mountain is notorious for call being dropped as well. I usually have 1 or 2 bars when driving through Stone Mountain and almost 100% of my calls right before the West Park Place exit. How can 2 companies get together and their product gets worst? Does anyone have a solution to this?

Shitty reception, lots of drop calls in my home and car. I have to stand outside my front door to try and hear some one talk on the phone, and even then the phone calls drop too! I'm loosing business because of this company. Worst of all I'm stuck with this damn company because of my contract which won't end for two more months. Sometimes I think they make contracts to trap you because they know how awful they are, and if they were good they wouldn't need contracts to keep there customers. There engineers or whoever needs to get off there high horses and fix there company because if they keep heading down this road of bad reception they will loose customers, and they the company will closed for business. To me I think they forgot that they need happy customers to keep there business running rather than upset customers. Seriously, woset company in America! I long for the day when ATT&T used to be Awesome before there new partnership with bellsouth.

Been perfect for me. Last tried them when they were powertel and they didnt hack it. This time around they have been awesome. Plus, over in Savannah the reception with Verizon is spotty, and TMOBILE has been just about perfect.

I had Verizon for my business, (30 phones) and due to this economy just needed to cut costs. Decided to give T-Mobile a try and I must say I have been very pleased with the reception. I may have had 2 dropped calls in the 3 months I have had them. No complaints from my field guys either which saves me headaches. We mainly use them in Gwinnett, Walton, Rockdale and Fulton counties. They must have really increased their coverage area since my last stint with them in 04.

We are southeast of 124 and 78. Tower in area and Verizon, did a drive by and aware of our problem. Said that they do not have any plans to upgrade. We are not sure that switching will aleviate the problem.

Drops calls every time I go down this road. I also lose calls on Ronald Regan, hwy 78 in Between, my house in Monroe and any where else I happen to be having an important conversation at. Maybe it is the phone or maybe it is just Sprint. Can't wait to change service.
