Alltel has a tower very near in? soperton ga. very good reception here and around the whole middle ga area. too bad everybody I know uses southern linc.

i have very good signal in most places... there is a spot on hwy 29 between soperton and vidalia where I always lose signal n drop calls but it dont matter what carrier you have there, it is a DEAD spot. I love Verizon and my palm pixi phone... dont think I will ever switch unless i'm forced to

I love Verizon, and the coverage over most of Treutlen county is great! Vidalia is one of the few places in Georgia where Verizon struggles, but it's not their fault. Blame US Cellular because they control that airspace. Still love it, and wouldn't change for anything!
