Poor area for At&t. I even changed my iPhone in for a new one thinking it was defective. I have reported the area to At&t. they need to increase the tower coverage and strength. According to AT&T I am in teh GREEN area, which is the best it gets. I say it must get better. I am researching a booster for my area to go on the building..
Signal bars vary between 3 / 4 - not bad but you have to be careful where you put the phone if indoors. My service is with T-Mobile. Also used a very old Samsung SGH-R225M and was surprised at how well it did for an old 3 / 4 yr old phone. But I do wrap up old phones and batteries separately and then seal in a ziplock bag to protect them from corrison due to high humidity. (tip for reusing old phones later). They still work years later.
