0 or 1 bar at all times and frequently in "SOS Mode" or "No Service". My wife has the same issue with her Treo 650. AT&T's coverage is complete sh*t in Georgia. I came from Los Angeles where it was great. I have tin cans and string that work better than the AT&T network in Georgia. Good job guys! Keep up the stellar work!
at &t sucks dont get it ever since they have switched to at &t from Cingular the reception is horrible and I am switching to VERIZON that is the only network that is trust worthy so do not get any company but verizon... or maybe t-moble but Sprint and at &t suck
Bars fluctuates in various parts of the house; can drop a call walking across a room. Called 9-1-1 today and got Forsyth County 9-1-1 (I live in Gwinnett and am closer to Fulton than Forsyth as the crow flies).
The majority of the neighborhoods on the back half of Moore RD (past Crofton) gets little to no reception. Lansdown is one of the worst spots ever. I've had Cingular for 4 or 5 years and they've yet to address this problem. If this problem is not fixed, I'm switching to Verizon after contract is up.
All thru Suwanee Dam Road, the reception is terrible. There is a stretch of road where I don't get a signal at all. Now that I am seeing the number of towers in the area, it all makes sense. I have had a number of issues, but not being able to make calls from my house is just a nightmare.
I HATE Nextel! My phone drops calls all the time, breaks up, and doesn't work in my house. But, I'm in a 2 year contract and there's nothing I can do. The radio isn't even worth it since that works even less.Don't do this to yourself!
We cannot receive or make a call on Old Atlanta Rd by St. Marlo subdv. Between the power lines and hills. If we are on a call going into that area, we get dropped. We've noticed a considerable drop in service in most areas since AT&T merged with Cingular. Looking for a new carrier soon.
