There is no signal here at all. Don't try to make a call. I live near here and have been fighting with AT&T since I fist got the phone. I know the iPhone is a crappy phone but neighbors who have AT&T get drops or garbled calls on my street. I will always get "Searching" or "No Signal" and if I get a signal it maybe 3G but also flips to Edge. AT&T won't do anything and won't let me out of my contract, so the phone is often useless in my area, even for 911. Don't get AT&T! I'm going back to Verizon.

This entire area is a dead zone. It maybe part iPhone, but my wife has a Palm and she gets dropped and garbled calls too.

I either get 1 bar or none. It continually switches back from 3G to E (edge) If I take the phone out of my house, the problem persists until I start walking down the street. Often on a fully-charged phone, I get a "no service" signal. I had my phone replaced and have spent several hours on the phone with AT and T and Apple. It is not a hardware issue. But AT and T is not dealing with the issue.

1-2 bars at best. Dropped calls all the time.

I switched to T-Mobile in January and I love it. I had Sprint which always dropped calls, but with T-Mobile I always have good reception except on Briarcliff Road between Northlake Mall and Clairmont (Probably due to dense tall pine trees). My partner has Cingular and experiences dropouts at the same locations mentioned.
