I live in the new apartments at the end of baytree road and inside of my apartment the reception is terrible

I have used 10 or more phones I have tried and tested numerous phones with differant providers. All except Alltel have failed for my needs. The rural areas around Valdosta have little or no coverage except Alltel. Southern Linc runs a close second.

At&t has awful service.horrible reception and it drops phone call constantly.

I live within Valdosta city limits near the Country Club, zero to 1 bar indoors, maybe 2 bars outside. Half of all calls get dropped. Most of the towers are located on the interstate or near downtown no AT&T towers on the north end or up Bemiss at all.

During peak days at Wild Adventures calls may not connect due to busy network. Overwise Great service.

I was told Cingular was the best. I have to say it was until 6 weeks ago. Now I am constantly having dropped calls. I am currently looking for a new carrier.

Nextel works great in and around Valdosta but once you get into rural Lowndes County or ANY part of any surrounding county there is zero Nextel service. Unless your in a rural area within a mile or less of the interstate forget about it. No Nextel service in Lakeland, Statenville, Nashville, Clyattvile (unless your on the interstate).

Nearly all of Lowndes County (Valdosta) has good Nextel reception as soon as you leave Lowndes though Nextel has little or no reception.

Nextel has great reception, but their digital network sucks. you send or recieve a text message, and recieve it most times a day later. Nextel sucks. Sprint is better, much better, but never nextel, never

When I arrived here in July of 04 reception wasn't so good, but now, 04-01-05, recption is great.

If I'm not dropping calls, I'm roaming. I can be in my kitchen with reception, walk into the living and be roaming. It's pretty crappy.

Reception is generally very good around town, all the way to Ray City and farther, and Lake Park and Clyattville without trouble. Sprint's reception is really good in buildings, even the steel-frame, windowless aluminum sided building in which I work. I average four bars around town with decent SN ratio in most places. Much better than AT&T's indoor reception.

I didn't have service in Ray City, thats where I live now.

Good reception here. There is a cell tower within view of this intersection.

The links is a black hole with no reception for my cellphone.

I work from home and my Company has a national agreement with Verizon. But, I get very little reception while in my home office. I'm told two new towers are going in, but no one can tell me when.
