I rarely ever get signal. I think the only network that extends out here is GSM 850, which my phone does not support.

I have never had a dropped call or dead spot.

Verizon wireless has proved to be excellent reception in my hilly community between Douglasville, Villa Rica, and Carrollton. Several lakes have interfered with tower placement. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. After being unable to use my cell phone from my house with Cingular, I switched to At&T (prior to their joining with the "C" company. This switch only proved to be a very marginal improvement. So, I then switched to T-Mobile and again noticed only a minor amount of improvement. Finally I discovered the beauty of belonging to the Verizon Wireless service and it has been an incredibly NICE experience, from both performance and customer svc. I feel like a complete FOOL for ever using Cingular. I cannot believe they are still in business, what a bunch of lame brained employess including upper mangement!

Brand new tower in Villa Rica by I-20! Reception wasn't bad before, but now it ROCKS! I have Southern Linc for work, and you can be in a basement room and lose reception- NOT NEXTEL! I Use it from here all the way to and all over NW Florida- Even out in the boonies with no problems. I looked into some of the sprint, Metropcs, T-Mobile plans, and found that they are specific to "Metro" areas, and not designed to be well recieved out in the rural areae!
