Towne Lake Pkwy. All Throughout / Bells Ferry Rd. intersection, Woodstock, GA 30189 Sat Jul 26, 2008

It seems as if T-Mobile tends to be slacking on getting up some new towers. I use my phone for work and I hardly get service anywhere in marietta, kennesaw, or acworth either. Not sure whether it's the new phone I had to sign a two year contract to get; which T-Mobile won't swap-out, or just T-mobile's service in general. I have been a T-Mobile customer for over four years, and it seems the service just gets worse and worse. At this time, I'm very dissapointed with the company and will never go back to them again once my contract which they looped me into over the promise of a phone with better reception ends.

Samsung SCH-A930
Allatoona Trail, Woodstock, GA 30189 Thu Feb 08, 2007

All carriers have a "dead zone" anywhere around the edge of Lake Allatoona. This location is no exception. Verizon's signal will occasionally drift in, then drift out. 90% of the time, there is no reception AT ALL at our home on Allatoona Trail!

I switched from Verizon to Cingular because there was poor Verizon reception at my house. Cingular Razr works great!

Town Lake, Woodstock, GA 30189 Sun Oct 03, 2004

Signal throughout Town Lake is 1-2 bars and often drops signal indoors, some due to hills but TMO really needs to add a tower - this is a huge consumer base they can't afford to lose.

It seems to be okay in North Georgia area. This phone's antenna is not so good, my wife's Nokia something or other gets at least 2 bars, seldom drops calls. I have some trouble driving down 92 toward 575, but not bad. In-store reception is often bad, but fortunately it works well in my home. Where I lived in California I had NO reception in my home (Folsom). Life is better now, and not just because my phone works. I also use data, which works as well as voice service at 2-3 bars. I do drop a lot of calls when driving in Atlanta, especially on the freeway.
