Reception rating: 1 (poor) -Calls drop every time in that location. Sprint PCS (poor customer service) provides me at lesat two dropped calls daily. Coverage is spotty at fringe areas of the island that is least populated or traveled. There is no signal after moving >100 feet into a parking structure. Elevators eliminate their signal. It can't be faulted in CDMA technology because Verizon Wireless uses the same technology and users are able to hold calls in parking structures and in elevators.
The reception of Verizon for me has been excellent in Hawaii. I haven't tried out of state but I always have connection, even in most elevators and places where tm, cingular, and many others don't, I even got service at the rest stop at Mauna Kea!
For the last two weeks, I have consistently experienced poor reception within a two block radii of this Location. Unfortunately, this is the hub of the downtown Honolulu business district. Dropped calls are not only an inconvenience, they are unacceptable with the rates we as subscribers are being charged. I have been a T-Mobile customer since they were Voicestream. Never experienced any trouble with them until this year. I am given to understand that they have lost several repeater sites on Oahu. But would the company disclose that to its customers? No, they would not Jim Clement
