T Mobil is the best on Maui island... Just not sure the extra savings and unlimited data plan are worth the very poor coverage here on The Big Island. Been T Mobil member for 11 yearsWas this review helpful to you?
I asked the Sprint salesman if theit service worked in oceanview. The salesman said yes. I said I work down there every other month and I'm down there an entire month, if he was positive. He assured me it did. I bought a 125.00 phone and service 60. 00. Well 11 miles south of the Sprint my service stopped. I thought maybe it was the mountain. I get all the way there and no service at all. I get back to the store a month later the salesman wasn't there and asked why was I lied to. I want a refund. This different salesman said sorry your a day late for a refund. Sprint fkd me good. I tried getting service from a different carrier an they wanted a 500.00 deposit. Sprint fkd my credit totally up. Never ever been lied to by a phone carrier..Was this review helpful to you?
Do not get Sprint if you live in Hawaii! You will be disappointed. There is not any sort of troubleshooting staff on the west side of the island. The automated support line is manure! Your calls will get dropped and the Internet service is worse than dial-up. My texts are a 50 / 50 shot. I cannot attach anything to my texts or they are not delivered. Do not use Sprint on the island of Hawaii! Was this review helpful to you?
I didn't sign a contract but most of the time no service or one bar. If I go outside and stand on the lanai I might get two bars. I'm thinking of getting the new iPhone6s but don't want to lock into a contract with a bad carrier here in Kona. Was this review helpful to you?
I have been a loyal customer with ATT along with my children for over 10yrs now. But I recently moved from mainlands to the Big Island and have lived on the east side first and now on the west side in Kona. My service has been very poor. 1-2 bars is my average. At best is I move around the house I occasionally get 3 bars but in n out. Not stable at all. When on the phone I often get complaints from my friends that they have trouble hearing me. Signal is in n out too much. I have unlimited everything but for some unknown reason my bill keeps climbing a little higher each month. It should always be the same. I am now seriously looking for a more reliable company. Even if it breaks my contract. Was this review helpful to you?
I have learned from a company insider that AT&T purposely cuts back its wattage output from cell towers to save money at the expense of the customers that prepaid welcome to the cheated, no morality corporate world, do not use At&T in Hawaii hit their bottom line for as they are a bottom feeder, send them to chinaWas this review helpful to you?
AT&T sucks the bong if they think this is phone service several days no service a class action lawsuit is in order for their fraud and non disclosure failure to provide services paid for. Hmmm as a lawyer I think I'll advertise that. Was this review helpful to you?
Switched from Sprint to Verizon nov. 2913. Reside Kincaid big island. I recommend Verizon over Sprint for this location. Was this review helpful to you?
By Magics, Sprint is worthless in Kona. And their so called customer service is a JOKE, less than zero. If you need an official store you have to drive to Hilo. The store in Kona is only a front for selling more junk and collecting money for NOTHING. Get dropped calls from lanai ( only place I can get any reception) Data sucks too. The other day they sent me a text saying I was over on my "anytime minutes" because every call from here is roaming. I am switching back to VERIZON. May cost a little more, but well worth it.Was this review helpful to you?
I just got off the phone with AT&T for the third time to complain about the lousy connection. I live in a densely populated area and well over 50% of my calls are dropped! They told me that if I want better reception to go to the AT&T store and purchase a micr-cell booster for 200.00! Are you f'en kidding me!? I have been with them for 10 years, over 15 phone accounts for my businesses. Well I guess Verizon is going to get all of that business now... . DO NOT SIGN UP WITH AT&T, you will regret it if you live in Kona! Was this review helpful to you?
