Signals fade in an out, calls drop or callers cannot be understood. Problems are with two different types of phones, not just one. We always revert to the land line. Reception seems worse that when we moved in several years ago. Sprint has been working to fix service, but their fixes did not achieve any improvemnt this past month... June 2008.

Face it: cell phone reception in Hawaii sucks... but it shouldn't. Especially not in places where it could contribute to safety. I can call out on Sprint ( most of the time), but I can't receive calls. Callers report having to leave msgs which I don't even post to my phone unless I go into Honolulu.

Sometimes calls fade in and out. It doesn't drop the calls, but you can hear the people you are talking to fade away and come back. Very strange. Other than that, this service is much better than the ATT phone that I have for work.
