Data is fine though wifi Call are all Dropped or VERY poor quality.

This phone was sold to a 9yr old. If we cannot resolve this issue I expect the full refund. Otherwise I do plan to take this to the Papers and Media! Frustrated Parent!

No issues throughout Oahu, Maui or Big Island. Roaming in NY, NJ, AZ, CA also seems flawless.

The only part I get low signal is up in Makakilo but that's all the way at the top. But go figure because it's up in the mountains and there's no place for a tower up there. Actually I think it's improve since last year, last year I had no signal. AT&T is one of the best carrier and I say this from experience because I've had T-Mobile, Nextel, Sprint, Mobi PCS, etc. Customer service and coverage is one of the best, although I must say that Sprint was somewhat good until they merged.

Well, I just switched from T-Mobile to Cingular. service is about the same, however I'm finding the customer service better from Cingular. T-Mobile wants 200 Bucks. They are telling me I have service! I'm telling them I get 2 bars at best. If one was to look at the Cingular service coverage for Hame Place 96707 You would see a triangle of NO COVERAGE. In fact look on the entire ridge where people live, coverage is poor at best. I would think that the cell companies would try to best serve the customers but finding cell sites for towers may be difficult in the area. Bottom Line: T-Mobile and Cingular bought the same. Customer Service with Cing is good (until I try and break the contract) and the chics at the store rule with perfect asses. Yum.

While driving up Makakilo Drive, the call drops near the park. Getting even a single bar is impossible in upper Makakilo. There are pockets in Kapolei that I cannot recieve a signal. People call and my phone will not even ring! Waikele is also one area that I have found difficulty recieving a signal.

This seems to be the blind spot for all carriers. I had AT&T before Nextel, and it seems that both carriers lost reception in the same area. I think it's just a blind spot probably for all carriers.

Great reception - receiving 5 bars, e-mial and browser work as good as in any majot city on Cingular. Verizon service had been spotty to mostly non-existant so I switched and am extremely pleased!

Many "call failed" messages. Very Frustrating! Just switched from Nextel.

Multiple Dropped calls, don't understand. I always show good signal but phone shows "call failed". Very frustrating since I just got rid of my land line.

No reception at all! When ever I'm on the H1 freeway while on the phone, I have to warm my callers that I'm in a low reception area. This also goes for Nextel, T-Mobile and AT&T. I'm not sure what else carriers have this problem there.

Since December 29, 2004 have experienced a heavy volume of dropped calls. Made a trouble ticket with Nextel and someone from Hawaii called me and said that they would re-tune their system. Guess the re-tuned the wrong way because now I have no service where I am.
