I've been traveling back and forth between Marriott Waikoloa and the Hilton Waikoloa with no problem with reception. My girlfriend has T-Mobile and her coverage sucks. I have AT&T.

2-4 bars but am constanly dropping calls or not being able to make calls. Our appartment has been bad but has gotten worse. Have been told several times they are working to fix the problem with the coverage. Talked with a rep and she finally told me the coverage for this area was marginal. They tried to reset the phone with the tower but it did not work. Looking for a new carrier that has better coverage for this area?????? Any ideas...

T-mobile says this area is poor signal. I can terminate their service without penalty. They suggest that I purchase Wi-Fi phones for better reception. If I have a wireless router for internet it should solve the problem. I have to replace two phones for $150 each and may have to purchase a wireless router. If this doesn't work I can return the phones within 14 days for refund.

I have been calling T-Mobile for at least 2 years about sevice outages. After dropping 12 calls today I called and finally got someone there to tell me that they can not provide more than 3 bars and most places are 2 bars within a 50 mile radius from my home. They say that 2 bars means dropped calls. Great! I bought the new phone from them because they said it would provide better service. Now I have 18 more months with them and an expensive phone and very little coverage. I guess I will just pay for termination! I am switching and wonder if AT&T of Verizon is the way to go?

Nextel i830 phone works fine except for one major problem person on other end can only hear you some of the time.. I keep saying, can you hear me now all the time. Nextel has no clue what the deal is yet. I know someone with an i830, our phones are 1 month old, and this problem has persisted here since day one. Same exact problem. Sounds to me it's either a mass production defect, or a network problem.
