Bars fluctuate between 2-3. Dropped calls constantly. takes 6 or more calls to have a normal convo. Static comes and goes regularly. service was fine until they purchased Alltel. In mar / apr of 09 service became spotty and has been getting steadily worse. calls drop off continuously. It has become so bad, people know that I will call them back as soon as I can and we just pick up where we got cut off.reported it in May and have been working / fighting with them since. need to find a reliable carrier that is trustworthy. each call I make to tech support / Cust serv I am told many different things ie"need a digital phone not analog, phone is digital, caught between towers, current phone is best for situation, phone is the worst for situation... .always a different story. you pay for the privilege of being hugely frustrated.Away from home use is acceptable.

Virgin Mobile works when I am at my house. I live about 8-10 miles away from I-380. When I am at my house I get about 1-2 bars of service. When I go into town it says searching for signal. Virgin Mobile only works in large Metropoliton areas.
