Reception good although I have certain spots I can or cannot use around the house and property. I had to get the IPhone because we still do not have cable TV or DSL back in our area. The iPhone allows us to tether our phone with our desk top and gives us High Speed at home for the first time Yep, I lived with dial up forever so a coffee can and a wire would of been faster than dial up. My wife had a Verizon phone forever and could never use it at home.. Had to drive 3 miles Down the road to use. We have no Verizon cell service at home. A friend who had a laptop and The Verizon stick who swore how good the service Was brought it to the house when we were looking to make a change. It worked alright, by sitting outside in the snow at the end of the property and All he could get with his magic high speed Verizon Stick was dial up speed... At&T works just fine back Here.

AT&T (formerly Cingular), weak coverage in the east end of Coeurd'Alene, drops calls badly in the Fernan area, spotty reception inside of buildings, Verizon beats them hands down traveling or even local use. Will be switching to Verizon for business use once contract with AT&T is up. Verizon Coverage in the Cocallala area between Athol and Sandpoint is a bit weak and could use improvement. I travel alot to Montana, and Verizon is the Only Company worth using over there.
