I get 5 bars at my home and in town but lose it at every draw or canyon. I can't get any reception going down the Winchester (or any) grade and along hwy 95 going to Lewiston until I reach Lapwai. I get only basic service as very little of the high tech stuff is available in my area. I still need a tri-mode phone. I am disappointed that Verizon hasn't upgraded services as timely as they told me they would when I signed on in 2003. I am also very disappointed that all is still long distance in my area so I can't call my spouse on our home phone to cell phone without long distance charges. I have thought about changing carriers (Inland Cellure or Cingular) but reviews and folks I talk to shows Verizon still has the edge overall.
