Reception is very good and over recent years it has dramatically improved. In many areas UMTS / 3G (not to confuse with GSM) signal is not strong but even at low bars voice quality is great. If I turn off 3G, I may get more bars and not notice much difference, except that I prolong battery life. HSDPA is little slow but its faster than Verizon / Sprint's. Version plus offering better speeds is supposedly coming soon.
