Phone service is fine, but hot spot service is terrible. Frequent stops 4 buffering, can't hold more than 2 devices at once. Interminable waits for uploading video. 4G signal often non existent, never better than poor. I feel like a sucker 4 buying into this system.

Sprint has very lousy coverage in Brookfield. I very often have to go to porch to be able to hear or make a call. Compared to the Cingular phone that I also have, Sprint is about 1 / 2 bar better than Cingular. Thus, I strongly suggest that you do not go with either one of these carriers if you live in Brookfield.

AT&T Cingular coverage in Brookfield is horrible. Many times I cannot get a signal in my house, and the signal is only slightly improved if I go outside. Dropped calls a common due to the pathetic signal strength. I have friends that live about 1 / 2 mile south of us near the Metra tracks and their AT&T Cingular experience is exactly the same.

While sometimes I don't have the maximum number of bars I can always make calls out. Sometimes my calls go straight to voicemail but the phone notifies me instantly. Also I can get reception just about anywhere (in my house, at work, while driving) except for huge buildings like hospitals. I LOVE US Cellular for the service and have NO complaints about them except for the price of their plans and all the crappy phones (can't download ringtones without paying $5 a month for the Easy Edge service!)
