have had AT&T for 2 yrs and reception seemed good while we were locked n2 a 2yr agreement! now our signal at home is very poor! continually drops calls, 2 bars at best and lots of "no service" have called AT&T and no real help with why all of a sudden our reception has gone bad! signal at home horrible, but go n2 town and phones have full signal! doesn't help with at home where there's barely signal! tower isn't that far away so they need 2 do something or we'll be finding a diff provider!

The coverage for AT&T has improved a very large amount in centralia and also in the towns around centralia in the past 2 years. I believe that AT&T has the best service out of all of the wireless carriers. The updates made in the coverage are most noticeable on the west side of town. Aslo, in sandoval you can actually receive and make calls when before it seemed impossible. AT&T is they carrier with towers in sandoval, junction city, and patoka.

You BARELY get a digital signal outside on this part of town. The moment you get into an automobile or step inside your house, your signal is completely gone. Luckily I have a 15 day trial, and they will get the phone back. I havent owned it for a half hour and its already useless out on this part of town.

If you have an emergency between exit 103 and 109 on interstate 57 between Dix, Illinois and Centralia, Illinois good luck. Even if you can pull the mt vernon tower that far good luck for the tower to hand off correctly to the salem tower.

Verizion needs to improve there coverage period. I'll be switching to Nextel SOON!

Verizion needs to put up tower west of town so those traveling towards St. Louis will have coverage.

Very Poor signal for Centralia,IL

This is the location of our home. It is highly unusual if we can get a single bar... usually we get a "no service" message. This makes our cell phone entirely useless at home. Reporting to Cingular does no good. Our previous phone was a Nokia and we could actually make an occasional call with it from home.

This area is dead 99.9% of the time. This continues 2 or 3 miles to the west. Have complained to Cingular but to no avail.

Good signal all over town.
