So frustrating to have a freelance job and not have coverage around my own house. To return a voicemail, I must get in my car and drive 3 blocks where I have a reliable signal! iPhone is aweome, AT&T way behind the ball for network coverage in a very very populated area of Chicago!

AT&T sucks. Calls are dropped all the time and even when I do get through the calls usually dont last for more than 5-10 minutes. After that the service starts to go in and out and it is impossible to understand what the other person is saying. I would definitly NOT recommend AT&T and plan on switching to a new service soon once I figure out which one would be best.

AT&T is the worst provider! I had no choice wanting to have iPhone (love it). I thought monopoly was illegal. Worst service and coverage in the world! not worth switching!

My reception inside my home office is horrible. When I find a spot with a couple of bars and make or receive a call, and stay completely STILL, the bars can swing down to 1 or else I get disconnected. It's horrible. Is this a conspiracy by AT&T to keep us on our landlines? I end up paying for a lot more long distance landline service than necessary.

For paying over $100 / month to a network that boasts about more bars in more places... I think they should just change their slogan to No Bars in More Places. I'm in the same boat with the rest that wish to cancel their contract and switch to another provider. It's too bad considering I'm in love with my phone. If only the partner to make it functional would produce better service.

AT&T iPhone only works near the window of my 3rd floor apartment facing west. Dropped calls and delayed / lost text messages are the norm. My roommate has Verizon and has full service. I love the iPhone, but it is getting to the point where I will switch service to a CDMA family carrier and use the iPhone as a glorified iPod Touch.

I get 0 or 1 bar in my home. I may get 1 or 2 bars outside.

I hesitate to even add my comments... as it seems like all AT&T users have poor or no reception, especially in their homes. I doubt very much that anyone is listening to the tsunami of complaints, however. For the city that supposedly "works" something as critical as cell phone coverage is a flat out failure. Can you hear me now??? because I can't!

Switched from T-Mobile because of dropped calls (5-10 / day). I'm a heavy user all over Chicago area 6000min / mth. T-Mobile got much worse in last few months. Verizon-so far not nothing special. Not happy with BB Storm. Lots of issues!
