I get reasonable reception even in the basement if I set the phone in the window and use the earpiece. I have had Cingular for about four years now, because it's what works when I'm at work. Reception in town here has improved a lot in the last year.

Generally decent, but the network seems to have "fits" occasionally where you may or may not be able to make calls out or you'll have a lot of calls dropped..

Works okay outside, nearly unusable in my apartment. My old Nokia 3589i was 100x better.

I get pretty bad singals in my apt and near by area. but if go little further toward Lucinda..then signal strength is pretty good..i say perfect.

I travel between DeKalb and Rockford daily.Horrible phone service in between points A&B with sprint, I have given up on voice and have been reduced to texting to communicate.I had the same issue traveling to Sandwich. It seems to be much worse than when I had Nextel a few years ago.

Dropped calls constantly. Phone will ring on my end maybe about 25% of the time, otherwise they go to voicemail. Even text messages come in bunches, have gotten 4 or 5 all in a row that have been sent to me hours prior. No signal in my house, OR at my work, so pretty much the only time the phone is worth a damn is when I'm driving between the two, which is 10 minutes. Why am I paying $80+ dollars a month for this again??

Service doesn't work -- can't place or receive a single call with this prepaid cricket phone. Falls back to "american roaming" for attempts to make outbound calls, calls to program the phone are staticy / don't work, inbound calls go to voicemail. Frequent "out of service" messages.

Signal is almost non existent at times. I'm lucky to get 2 bars (that's a good day). I have 2 cells, 1 for work and a personal one. My personal is Sprint and have excellent reception in the same area.

All phone reception is bad. Rarely works good anywhere.

Almost NO service in my house... East window upstairs will provide enough signal to get voice mails, change settings... Calling really iffy. Verizon (previous carrier) just as bad. I'm in a dead zone... 1 / 2 block in any direction is great signal!
