Coverage is spotty at best. trees, power lines, weather causes dropped signals. A signal booster for the IPhone has helped immensely. Rumor: AT&T will upgrade other central IL cities (Champaign-Urbana) before this area.

AT&T Reception is very poor. It is fine on the streets but get inside of a building and drops to 1 or 0 Bars. Even in areas that show "Good" on their maps. Reception changes from month to month. Rumors say Peoria will go 3G in late fall of 2009 but Peoria area seems to be last on AT&T's list of city's to worry about.

Call dropped between the trees on meadows, also got poor reception in Peoria. It's weird though I'll go from 4 bars and then all the sudden I can't even make a call

My personal phone is with Sprint, my company phone is with Verizon. At home I cannot make a call on the Verizon phone but have no issues with my Spront phone.

I get good reception all over the East Peoria, Peoria, Morton area with my US Cellualr phone.

We wre in Germantown Hills. Cannot use our cell phones in the house! Many dropped calls. need to update our phones..what are we to do?

Have not had any problems with Verizon around the whole peoria illinois area. Works everywhere in house and works well at work in Mossville, IL

I have great reception with Verizon! I had a Samsung Gleam before I got the LG touch and had terrible reception. I believe it all depends on the phone itself. All of my previos phones were great except the gleam.
