Drop calls all the time in Wasco. Since changes were made to a cell tower on Town Hall Road, I have little to no reception at home in that same area.

I have Nextel service and it is horrible. I can't make a phone call / receive from inside my house. Their are certain areas in my yard that are ok.

Elburn is the cell phone service drop off test site. If you want to know if your phone has good reception, come to Elburn and talk for a while. I have had T-Mobile, Verizon, Cingular, US Cellular, and others in the area, and the only service that lets me talk without worry is NEXTEL!

I have the LX 550(Fusic) with Sprint. I've had no trouble until moving to Elburn. Near Gates and Reader I receive 0-2 bars at best. Usually I have only 1 bar of reception. Calls are dropped or have such interference to make conversation nearly impossible. Also most calls incoming go straight to voice mail and do not ring on our end. I am at this time still fighting with Sprint to see if maybe I can get free antenna enhancers such as an external antenna for house or one which goes in with battery. Figuring I may have to cut contract due to lack of service. Hope to not have to pay for early termination due to lack of service and 3 of 4 reps I talked to lied about the signal strength I should be receiving in Elburn. Only one had the decency to agree that I shouldn't have to pay for no service.

Drops calls North on 47 Lily Lake to Rt90, Corron road south of McDonald, Townhall road and Campton Hills Rd (and this is one of the highest points in Kane county). I am always calling in for drop call credits and sometimes those calls are dropped too. Once east of Randall reception is good. I get a voice echo in the phone (which Sprint claims does not happen) and many times I receive voice mail from callers claiming I did not answer the phone. (It did not ring) Sprint states there is nothing wrong with the phone or network.

Just moved out to the area about 3 weeks ago and I am NOT happy about T-Mobile's service in the area. Data coverage is absolutely horrible. Call quality half the time is great, then non-existant. Doesn't seem to be anything in between.

Calling and receiving are not anything I can rely on... I so wish I hadn't listened toVerizons lies and gotten a 2 years contract on 4 family phones-expires March '07. ANy suggestions?
