no reception 1 / 8. called cs 4 times in 3 weeks. each time told be up by... never happens.

I get great service all over the area. My 3G is all over the state and on business trips I have 3G all over the US. Very happy with Verizon.

My calls are always getting droped. I hate AT&T. I am switching to Verizon for the new Motorola Droid (Android) phone.

Verizon has updated towers or something here. My service is great. Remember to update your phones via *228 option 2 for any new towers and all.

Reception in and around our house is between 1 and 2 on all 3 phones for past 2 months. I'm unemployed - do you know how frustrating it is to get a calls dropped when you're looking for work? Have called ATT cust service 3 times. They tell me they know there's a problem. Even offered me a discount. How about service instead? I will discontinue service at end of this month and they can knock themselves out getting any fees from me. They think they have everyone over a barrel. My advice is "stay away from this carrier".

I started out with Primeco and stayed when they were bought out by U.S. Cellular. I've been with them now for about 8-9 years and have had NO problems. I don't recall ever having a dropped call and sound quality is great. I've travelled all over the country and the only times I had problems was in the mountains or out in the middle of the deserts of New Mexico or West Texas. Same as any other provider. I'm considering upgrading my plan and buying a new phone and I'm sticking with U. S. Cellular.

I have had us cellular for over 4yrs now and never had a problem. My husband has Nextel it sucks I used to Verizon sucks too.

Have had Verizon for the past 3 years and the reception and phones have been good. I avg. 4 bars in car between Elgin and Naperville along Rte 59 and avg 3 bars inside my house.

Verizon Wireless by far the best provider ever. I had Sprint PCS and I used to drop calls all of the time. I switch to Cingular and it was better but no where near the quality of Verizon WIreless. Now my entire family just swith to Verizon

Well, Ive got T-Mobile for about 1 year, and I am very happy My contract is over! T-Mobile has thw worst signal at my home, I always have to get out of my house so m calls dont get dropped!

Over the last year or so, Verizon's service has actually improved... but from a "0-1" base. Conducting business from our framed 2-story split is now possible, but is still consistently dropped in the basement (my office - sad). Of course, the infamous forget-it zone nearby on IL 58 (say, from Rt. 25 thru Rt 59) remains stubbornly sucky. That's too bad. W / no decent restaurants around, dropped signals in the Jewel on 58 are further ravaging our diet here. HELP !

Good signal strength in my house and around town. Just switched from AT&T GSM / TDMA (they cancelled multi-band rate plans) and am happy so far!

Anywhere in this area, indoors and out, I get horrible service. Usually I vascillate between 1 bar and 0 bars, and therefore drop pretty much every call. Indoors my phone almost never rings because it has no signal.

why dont you put Kyocera phones so I can get ringtones

After 5 years with AT&T finally rid myself of them. T-Mobile service is good (3 bars and up) all around Elgin, Dundee, Barrington Hills. I have never had a dropped call, even in my house which is down in a ravine. I can't say enough. Customer Service has been outstanding, so much better than AT&T - if you could ever get through on AT&T. T-Mobile even called me back to ensure a problem didn't resurface. I can't say how glad I am to have switched.

I just switched to Cingular GSM two weeks ago and could not be happier! My phone now works in my house and have had no dropped calls. The Nokia 3595 has the best reception of any Cingular phone, I tried four different phones, Samsung x427, Sony t616, LG4050, the Nokia was the only phone to get perfect signal everywhere I tested it!
