Reception is awfull. Can't ever get calls, and texts are spotty or delayed. Sprint service coverage is terrible.

Do not even think about starting a contract with Sprint if you live near Elmhurst. I have been a customer for 12 years and FINALLY convinced them to let me out of my contract at no charge. They told me they are working on updating 6 towers in my area and that they 'should' be done by June 23rd. The reception is horrible: dropped calls, difficulty hearing, etc. I do not have a smartphone which for those, service is slightly better. Anyway, Sprint is prepared to deal with complaining customers over this so you HAVE to continue to complain and be persistent. It took me 3 weeks and hours on the phone to get a few discounts on my monthly, a booster for my home and then finally to be released from my contract.

I got a new Sprint iphone in Feb 2012. Service on iphone was spotty but possible inside my house. Since 01Mar2012 service has been horrible to non existent for making phone calls. Receipt or sending of texts is occasional. This seems to be occurring in all of Elmhurst whenever I attempt to text or make a phone call. I have always had Sprint service which was fine previously. My 5 year old flip phone had better reception for calls and texts. Unfortunately, I have passed the 30 day trial period so I cannot return the phone. Was planning on dropping land line guess I'll have to move instead. Sprint acts surprised anytime I call to inform them of the lack of service.... .calling from Villa Park, of course.

The reception is very very poor. Very frequent dropped calls. Thinking of switching to T Mobile.

about all I get now is an occational text. two years ago when I got phone AT&T was great.

Service is HORRIBLE. no service in the house, no service outside near the house. calls don't come through to phones and can't be made out. texts come through hours later. we have 2 3gs and 1 iphone 4. so unacceptable and company being stingy about giving microcell. about to lose our business of 3 years.

We use to have decent cell service but now we are constantly getting Searching, failed calls and no Service. We have 3 iphones 2-3GS and 1 Iphone 4 and they are all experiencing this problem. We are almost ready to switch to Verizon.

Horrible reception by Verizon. No signal at all in my house or outside. (We used to get at least 1 bar.) Have to drive 5-10 minutes out of the Verizon black hole to pick up a signal. What's the deal?

ATT cell coverage inside my York St. home is horrible on any phone used. Professional use is out of the question, I have to ask all callers to wait for me to call them back on land line. ATT advises me to stand outside or on roof. Very helpful advice! This is the absolute center of the Chicago area. ATT, get a map! Contract is up, moving on.

Very weak connection outdoors. Lose network entirely indoors. Had to swithch to Verizon which seems pretty good at this location using LG "The V".
