Verizon 4 Out of 5 Phone Model: starTac 7868	I have an old phone, but it gets good reception. I usually get 4 bars (digital not analog) inside my apartment (3rd floor). Six months ago, I only got 2 bars in the same location.

Forget getting any signal in campus buildings, but most other buildings are ok. Good signal most of north shore, except a barren spot on Golf road near Chick Evans golf course.

Sprint 4 Out of 5	I've been told there's a tower on the Northwestern University campus, and reception is great anywhere on campus. Inside buildings is non existent, but I've never experienced any dropped calls or poor reception outside.
