Verizon 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola V60	No signal in the house in Glencoe, weak signal outside. Calls are not dropped unless going into no signal areas. Frequently in Chicago the phone does not ring and you get missed call messages, also true on my wife's and daughter's phones (Motorola StarTac and v60 respectively). Used Verizon on the East coast from NY to FL with seemingly pretty good coverage, but I don't know how it would compare with other providers.
