Started my cell phone experience with AT&T / Cingular back in '98 with spotty service throughout Chicago on a Sony / Erickson t68i. The worst part was my phone would interfere with my car stereo. My sister suggested I try US Cellular so I did in 2005 with a razr 3. Great reception no interference. Only major problem was I was not able to sync with my macs. In July 2007 I apparently had $600 dollars to much in my account and bought an iPhone. Great device / Exceptional device. I switched back to AT&T. Had the same problem with spotty service and noise interference with sound systems. US Cellular had an excellent plan, but AT&T was not as cost effective. I was spending almost twice as much for phone service ($225 / month). After 3 months I had to cancel my service and paid all the fees required to. I'm back with US Cellular.

Both my treo 650 and Motorola T730 have v. good service in my house, but when we go just 1 mile north of us to our relative's house, we get 1-2 bars, but still able to make calls. Inside their house we get no service, step out and 1-2bars. THey use US Cellular and same issue. Otherwise no problems from Chicago to Los Angeles and even in Mexico.
