AT&T is by far the worst carrier in Hinsdale. I get poor to no service at my house, in town, and when I go over to my friends' houses. It is pathetic. If I didn't love my iPhone so much, and have a ridiculously high termination fee with AT&T I would switch cellular companies today.

ATT reception in the Western Suburbs seems to follow the same pattern as the city. Sporadic reception, no signal, terrible internet connectivity. Cancellation is imminent.

8-9 mos of no reception, garbled reception, dropped calls, no calls, cannot connect to voicemail. Cannot get any bars unless I walk around, then the call drops.

I drive down Ogden from York to Rt. 83 on my way to / from work every day, and the cell reception on Cingular along Ogden in that stretch is poor. When I'm on the phone, it cuts out a lot. As soon as I get onto Rt. 83, it improves.

No complaints. Good service

While at work, my phone keeps switching between Cingular and Cingular Extend - just sitting at my desk by a window. I've also lost the signal while driving home - heading west on Ogden toward Rt. 83.

My reception is fine in town but I get no reception at all inside my home. Does anyone get reception in their hinsdale home with any other carrier?

I am not sure I am ready to blame Sprint -- definitely DO NOT use the Samsung N400 phone

Can't make or receive calls from my living room without have drop call problems. I have to stand outside to avoid the drop call problem. For a wooden house that is 60 years old must be a lot of signal reducing materials in the place!

I can usually get 2-4 bars on my phone, but calls will drop after a few seconds after connecting. Very rarely will I get a call that will last more than 10 minutes. I have perfect reception at work which is in Downer's Grove. Since my house is near the high school, the heavy teenage overusage of cellular technology might be the reason of this pain. My parents' T-Mobile phone gets excellent service and reception here.

Just bought the new Galaxy. Works perfectly UNTIL I get into Hinsdale and then I have zero service. Can't call 611 (T-Mobile), 911, no one! I am convinced - Hinsdale is the Bermuda Triangle!

I work in the Hinsdale Library and I get no signal at all inside the library - ever!

Reception is still below average here. Anyone who's on Verizon or other carriers should file trouble tickets to their respective companies so this town can perhaps get some decent service!

They need a tower in the area, but rich folks won't let it happen. If you live in the area don't get Verizon, most cellphones have issues here, but Verizon has more. A buddies Sprint phone works alright.

Dropped calls every time, 2 bars if I go outside. Verizon claims service is great, but when I finally got a service call to come out and check they admitted it was "marginal" in Hinsdale. Poor in downtown Hinsdale also.

Get 3 bars outside school, but only 1 bar or no service inside all the carriers need to improve this area.

absolutly no reception in the fullersberg area. and very poor reception along ogden. I could be in the book of world records for the most dropped calls. I always have to call someone back on a landline as soon as I get their call and there is no reception in my house or yard what so ever. I am very frustrated
