Droped calls all the time on Iphone and blackberry. Dont get emails until get on highway. AT&T claims it is my equipment both a blackberry and iphone. Seems a bit crazy. Service has gotten worse do not get AT&T switching to verizon..

Excellent reception, I have never missed a call or have I ever had to look for a place to get better reception. I have not experienced a dropped call yet. I drove from Utah to Chicago and was able to make and receive calls on the highway in the middle of nowhere. Completely happy with my service. A bit expensive, but you pay what you get for. Internet speed is ok for my old Iphone, I get 2.25Mbps down on average. I wonder what speed a newer phone will get.

Alwys had reliable service in West Joliet and downtown Joliet - even indoors

Always had great reception all over the entire Joliet - Chicago area. Signal used to be a little low in my basement, but a new tower just went up down the road and now I even get a decent 3G signal in my basement.

Wife and I bought iPhones so we switched to AT&T. The signal service in Joliet is horrendous. Some times to get signal I have to not only leave my house, but literally walk around halfway up the block (cathedral district). Just yesterday I was in the parking-lot at the Rt.59 and Theodore trying to call my wife, and it took *18* tries over 15 minutes to get a call to go through and last for more than 5 seconds. My in-laws have AT&T as well and none of us get signal at their house near Larkin and Black Rd. Stay away from AT&T if you live in or around Joliet, IL.

since Sprint took over Nextel the service has dropped, I loved Nextel till they took over now I barley get a signal I will be switching when contract is up. funny thing is they dont even try to keep you when you are going to cancel

great reception everywhere but around work at the H.S, I get 1 bar at most. As soon as I leave the school I get great reception.

Service not too great in the town of New Lenox. The further east I go into Joliet, the better it gets... almost full. In my subdivision, especially, my bars average two... but will certainly drop to one on many occassions. A few bars in the Frankfort, Mokena area, but when I get to Tinley or further north, it's full service. Verizon Wireless would be a great phone if I wasn't in the New Lenox area. Maybe I should live between Tinley and Chicago. By the way, that *228 thing that "updates" your phone is so phony. They tell you that in hopes that you'll do it and that psychology will convince you that your phone is working better for the moment.

Normally I have to call the caller back on a land line. Had same problem with Nextel

Never Drop calls with this phone. Occasionally dropped calls with old Verizon Phone but newer phones work great.

I have to stand at the end of my driveway to get 2 bars. If I stand on my back porch I can usually get 1-2 bars. Coverage is terrible, dropped calls, calls go immediately to voice mail and most of my voice mails do not come in for 2 or 3 days after. If this was my personal phone, I would change providers, unfortunately this is my business phone.

I live right here, and have never had enough of a signal to even connect. If I go just a few hundred yards away from here, however, I have a near perfect signal.

Two Miles east of Larkin to Larkin Ave. along I-80 I always get horrible reception. Drop calls there all the time.

We have 4 different phones in our house,All have been replaced by Cingular, who insist we should be getting good sevice ! We have static and every other call gets dropped. We are very tired of complaining to Cingular as it sems to do no good. It is not our phones,it's their service ! Avoid them like the plague if you live around here. Go to Verizon... I never had a problem with them. We are all sorry we switched !

I had Nextel with plenty of issues (i730 and i90c). Switched to T-Mobile (V600) with better success. Reception in joliet area is spotty, but crest hill and near St. Francis College not that great. Everywhere else I've gone around Chicagoland, no problems.
