I've noticed many of your reviewers in this area have the same complaint, up until about a year ago I received fair reception while in my house and within a radius of about 2 miles, now it is absolute crap. I get better reception in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Since you're still receiving the same type of complaints and nothing has improved it's obvious AT&T has no intention of making any improvements. A customer has no alternative but to change carrier's.

I HAD GOOD COVERAGE FROM MY HOME UP UNTIL DEC 1ST, 2011. Now I can't get any calls in or out of my home. Customer service give the crap that it is my phone and to turn it off and then on and remove the Sim card and try again. BSSS! I can drive 205 miles in any direction and get a good cell connection. What is the problem and Did AT&T change something in this area??? I Use my phone alot as it is my only comm with family... Terrible cust service..

I have had Verizon Wireless for over 10 yrs with rarely a problem. Now I get little to no reception in or around my house. Calls are dropped or never completed. All conversations are better in the street. Verizon has tried a variety of updates, etc and finally said I needed a new phone or a $250 Net Work Extender. My phone works fine... except here and now. Is their product and technology getting poorer.. Or are they just in the business of making more $$ with planned hurdles to good coverage along with less customer satisfaction. Do they care? Spouse's Android phone has the same poor reception.

I get 5 bars outside my house and 5 bars inside my house. For the past year I have been getting more dropped calls for some reason though, even with 5 bars.

I had T-Mobile and always got full reception around here and in my house. AT&T was alright but sometimes my bars would go from 5 to 2 for no reason. Sprint I usually get 2 bars outside my house and 0-1 inside my house, which isn't enough to be able to talk on without disconnecting or breaking up.

I have lived in the area for 3 1 / 2 years now and have never had any problems with cell service. I always have full bars in my house and when I am anywhere in the surrounding area. My phone is another issue - awful battery life.

Very poor signal for the last 3 months. ( June, July and August 2009) I have had AT&T service since Dec 2005 and it was allways perfect. 3 months ago something changed, almost no signal at all. Cannot use the phone indoors. When I contacted ATT back in June they said that they had recieved thousands of calls and emails from my area and they were working on fixing it. Now when I contact them they act like they know nothing about it?

T-Mobile has a HUGE dead spot in this complex, but it is especially bad as I am at the bottom of a hill, almost as if my apartment were placed in a ravine. In the parking lot, I can get 2 bars, but then it drops to nothing again on Grand for about 1000 feet around the complex. Then it's great reception as you get closer to Gurnee or more towards Cedar Lake.

I've had service with several other companies and none have been as reliable and NEXTEL. Yes, they are more expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. I MIGHT have had maybe 2 dropped calls in the 4 years I've been a customer.

Not bad of a service but I think I will go back with Sprint soon.

Phone will switch up to six different tower as I walk in the house (AT&T Towers and Cingular Towers).
