I can confirm everything that the person on Friday April 20th has said. But I've taken this much further. I first called Sprint with their terrible service prior to Easter. I explained to them they had echoing problems with their M->L and L-M ( landline ) calls. I also explained that they had very poor quality with their signal when in the past it was adequate to strong. The wanted specific call dates and times that these problems where occurring and had their switch techs call me back ( on Easter Sunday no less ). I again, explained my problem ( which I have now done to more than 30 people at Sprint ). It ended with them saying that ALL 5 phones on my account obviously have a problem and I needed to take them to a Sprint Store. This sent me through the roof. I explained I've been doing this sort of business for more than 20 years. In fact I had even worked in Overland Park KS for Sprint ( on a contract basis ). This is when the told me the "truth" and that their towers were being upgraded to the new Sprint Vision and the tower that services me would not be complete until 6 / 30. I have called nearly every two weeks since. Always re-explaining my problems and ending with, nothing we can do. If you're not happy you can leave and pay ETF. And BTW, those phones you bought, they wont work on the competitors networks... Now, I called two weeks ago, to get status of the Piece of Crap network and they informed me that the upgrade will now be complete on June 1st. I was happy! I told them if it was unacceptable after 6 / 1 and they've done all they can do to fix my service, then could I cancel with no ETFs and get 100% refund on the phones I've purchased? They gave me a $25 credit on my bill... oh boy. I didn't even ask for it. And I assume they thought it would make me happy, even though I still don't have cell service or very poor at best. My monthly bill on my 5 phones is $250.00 per month. Today I called and they supervisor told me she had NO IDEA who would give me a date of June 1st and that they had no updates as to when the upgrade would be completed at all. That should could transfer me to cancelations but only if I was intending to cancel. I stated if I canceled, I can't port my numbers. I asked her if she even knew what WNP ( Wireless Number Portability ) was or how it worked. The phone immediately went silent. We were happy with Sprint prior to these upgrades. Sprint has made our wireless lives a living hell and we no longer have a landline in our house. This should be criminal. The Better Business Beauro should be looking into this. They promised me a service that they are not providing. I'm glad I pay all my wireless bills on my Credit Card. I will likely be calling them to dispute the last 3 months of charges $750 worth of Sprint charges, and Sprint can come after me... I will then contact all 3 credit bureaus to have any bad information on my credit report removed from sprint. This is self refunding... And something one must do to overcome this terrible customer support Sprint has provided.

For a carrier that boasts "more bars in more areas" forgot this one. I sit at the edge of 3 towers and they know it and are doing nothing about it. Had Verizon before this and switched because AT&T said they were better. The only carrier that works good here is nextel... . go figure. I was considering a Soho wireless extender, but the cost makes it prohibitive.

Marengo has very spotty coverage in almost every part of town - geographical impact appears to have impact on reception.
