Been with T-Mobile since 04. Back then recption was less then good in and around in Metamora wasn't able to talk while in the IGA. About 3 years ago I was getting full signal. Drop call zone seems to be the top of Germantown Hill / 116 come to find out it happens to the other carriers. The last 6 months I haven't had dropped calls yet going over that bluff. 3G coverage ends about a mile past the bluff heading east. As for Peoria reception is very good if not excellent same goes for the other carriers (info from friends and relitives). In and around Peoria inside buildings seems to vary wheir you are at and what side of the building your in. I've seen it when my phone gets barely a bar and someone with Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular getting good reception and also visa versa. It seems to me that in this day and age reception is relitive to what type of phone you have and where you are and where you live. How much your willing to pay for service is why I chose T-Mobile because they had the best deal at that time. I had Sprint the 6 mo. prior and had alot of dropped calls. Didn't have that prob. with T-Mobile. To me they have been above satisfactory when you consider the excelent customer service they give. Cellular service is never gonna be as good and clear as land lines. T-Mobile gets a good rating for the Peoria area. Metamora and Germantown Hills. good reception, no 3G. According to them it will be out here soon.
