I am lucky to get 2 bars of reception in my new house. It works great everywhere else, but what good is a phone that I have to go in my front yard to use??? Thinking of switching to Verizon, any comments?

i had Cingular for 6 months and have been to chicago, southern ill., des moines, north and south ohio, out to pittsburg I have had almost perfect recieption everywhere, unlike my Verizon phone that I had for 7 years constant dropped calls and bad signal. I had to stand outside my house to use the Verizon phone. Even on a trip I had to let my friend use my Cingular phone cause her Verizon phone kept dropping calls. also I can take and send a pic anywhere on my Cingular phone but couldnt do that in springfield mo with Verizon had to drive several hours before it would let me send the pic.

My Verizon phone used to cut out a bunch at home, my Cingular phone works perfect... .same thing in rock island.

I just switched to Cingular from Verizon and it is perfect in my house now, Verizon use to cut out when I leaned back in my chair. I had to stay in one spot in my house. Now I can go anywhere I want. GSM rocks...
