I get full bars on 1X and EVDO most of the time at my apartment. Dropped only two calls in the last six months. Im in downtown Chicago a lot and it works very well there too.

Was fair the first couple months I had the phone. I work out of my basement and could have conversations with few drops. Now, the phone is useless here. 90% of my calls drop. Most conversations are choppy. A lot of wasted time and frustration having to call back people on a landline. I have spent 3 hours on the phone with Verizon support and another hour in the store. Customer service is excellent, but I cannot use this phone for an important conversation. Outside of my neighborhood, coverage is quite good.

Great reception! Rarly have a droped call or problem. I just wish Verizon wasn't the last to get every BlackBerry.

Once I switched to a phone that was EVDO capable, almost all my reception issues in the Naperville area disappeared overnight. Previously, I had an older LG that only accepted the 1X digital signal. Have had to hand my phone to Cingular customers in order to let them make a call! Very satisfied.

I get really horrible signal in my house. about 90% of like all of my cell phone calls are like dropped. When I am on the first floor of my house I can never keep a call, even in opne rooms. When I am on the seconed floor I generally get a little bit better singal but then like 70% of my calls are dropped instead. when outside though I get OK signal, but I hardly ever get full bars unless I am like directly under a tower.

Verizon has so many tickets in the issue they said I can opt out of my plan because of documentation of poor signal.

Data card EVDO service useless in this area. No coverage at all.

Verizon is the second worse carrier (Cingular is the worst). Reception for Verizon is poor, dropped calls and voice quality problems. Dropped them as a carrier as well. Funny, wonder who owns the huge cell tower that dominates this area on Planck? Certainly can't be Cingular or Verizon as their reception are both very poor.

The reception improved in the last year and half but dropped calls are still happening often.

The phone will drop conversations at times in my home. We live about 1 / 2 mile from I-88. However, Verizon for the most part provides very good to excellent reception on the interstate from Naperville to Ft. Myers, FL.

I get great reception all over Naperville and pretty much everywhere else I go as well. I'm extremely satisfied with Verizon's network.

I must say I have had no major problems with my Verizon phone anywhere in the Naperville area. I live in the northeast corner of town near the Wheaton and Lisle borders, get great reception inside my apartment. No complaints!

I wouldn't get rid of my home wired phone. Calls have low signal and most of the time drop. I called Verizon and they said they did adjustments, but no better. Dead spot also in downtown Naperville (Corner of Chicago and Washington).

Verizon has dead spots in Naperville. They also have misrepresented this situation three times over the last 6 months. It's frustrating - I live in the middle of a large suburb and can't get good cell service.

Out dated phones.... Lack of phone support... Phone software issues... I have had several phones, paid full price... Calls click in and out... Then they are gone, but each phone has shown that the phone is connected.... No signal in many stores where my nextel and cingular phones were fine... Dropped calls...

Dropped calls... Faded Calls... Verizon might have the nationwide network, but there are plenty of holes in it...
