I have AT&T tdma service with great reception. I thought I should changed my phone since it is 3 years old. I got a v551 from Cingular and my reception sucked. I thought it was the phone, so I sent it back. It didn't work either. I tried again with the same results. The Service sucked, the Representatives do not understand the technology. They don't know the difference between gsm and tdma. I'm glad I didn't cancel my tdma AT&T phone. The combining of Cingular and At&T shlould have never happened. I went to At&T because their customer service and reception was great. Cingular sucks, just check out the Better Business Website.
