my Sprint phone barely works anywhere near my house, either inside or outside. i've had similar troubles in other parts of Oak Park. moral of the story: contract is up in 25 days and I'm getting a new plan at that moment.

Never had any problems whatsoever. I use the Razr in our apt at Lake&Austin and also all over Oak Park including downtown. Never had a dropped call yet with Verizon, never have less than perfect reception. Verizon is more expensive than the competition however and I think this is why!

I have contacted Sprint about the lack of reception but it has been useless. I have updated the phone several times but it is time to look for a new provider.

Often no service in my home so I have to take calls outside. Even then the number of bars seems to be hit and miss for unknown reasons. Looking forward to dropping Sprint when this contract ends.

Terrible reception. This is where my office is, and I get no signal inside. Must walk up Metra platform to get signal.

I have never experienced five bars. I have really had terrible reception since I purchased the Treo 680. AT&T / Cingular service is very poor, I'm considering Verizon but I'm concerned that I'll experience the same.

I call extensively throughout Oak Park. About 18 months a go I switched to the Razr phone and the call quality went from average to outstanding. I get calls in most buildings and throughout the village in my car. I have a dropped call or bad reception with maybe 3 or 4 calls out of 100 in Oak Park. I've talked three friends into switching to the Razr and they've had similar results. Don't know what makes this phone work so well with the AT&T network, but it sure does. I know other AT&T users, with other phones and their results aren't as good as mine.

Inside my building I drop conversations constantly during the summer months, however during the winter months things seem to be ok. Maybe tree interference, however I don't see any major trees around.
