We have very poor reception inside our house and have to basically stand outside to keep a phone call connected.

I think Verizon service sucks west of the Fox river! They need to add a tower west of the Fox river in Oswego IL. We frequently have 0-1 bars outside our house, and virtually no reception in our house on 1x or evdo. More Verizon folks ought to complain to them.

Not bad voice reception - 3G is iffy at best. EDGE is pretty consistent. MUCH better than Verizon. So far I'm happy with AT&T.

Never a Dropped phone call on this phone. I travel for work to the O'Hare Airport area and don't have problems between the two locations. My wife has a regular Razor, no problems and my daughters have LG Chocolate's with no problems.

I have a Nextel phone it worked great before Sprint took over. Now it's really bad. Dropped calls all the time. No service a lot of time. 2-3 bars. Would not sign up again. looking for new service now

Really bad - calls go right to voice mail- calls drop or break up. Don't even try driving West to Yorkville- even worse. Can't wait till contract is up!

Lousy reception inside my home on Verizon. Only 1 bar outside. Loads of dropped calls. A lot of people say that when they call, they get staright to voicemail. Gonna try Cingular / ATT or T-Mobile. Verizon customer service is lousy as well

My rececption is very poor here. Even Verizon notes a big number of dropped calls. A friend has the same problem. Wish I would not have re-signed with Verizon. I and others I know are going to bail as soon as contract ends. Have been a customer for 6+ years, very satisfied untill now. Customer service is an issue too- they are great on the phone, but no follow through!

This is my business phone. I frequently have customers return my calls and start the conversation with "Did you leave me a message earlier? I couldn't understand you at all because the connection was so bad." This is the worst service I have ever had. I can't wait for this contract to end so I can move on. Meanwhile, I'd rather use my VOIP account for business.

I travel often on business and rate this location the same as most others: somewhere between Good and Perfect. I've been a Verizon customer for several years now, and have seen consistent improvements in their service all along. I really shopped around a year ago when my contract was up, but found they are still the best thing going for my own needs. I'm very happy with Verizon.

Really bad reception. Also have another phone, analog / digital. Verizon is not who you want if you are in an EMERGENCY situation around here. Service is VERY Poor.

Service and reception is good all around town and in the surrounding area. I have not had a dropped call in a very long time. The only time I lose signal is inside buildings that have a lot of metal in their structure like the grocery store etc. No major loss of signal in houses. Much improved over the last few years.

Poor to no reception- gets worse as you head west on 34 to Yorkville. Wouldn't want Verizon in an emergency -even though it is supposed to be 3g

Phone usually shows 4 bars (maximum) but calls are constantly dropped. In a 30 minute phone call, the cal is dropped 3 or 4 times. It is rare that a call is not dropped on the first attempt.

Phones, resception, and service all suck. 98% of the time when someone calls me or my husband they are directed straight to voicemail.

My wife's Nokia 3195 is terrible! Always dropping calls and doing strange things. Never more than 3 bars on a perfect day. We switched to Motorola T720's and immediately raised the bar to 4 or 5. No dropped calls. Unfortunately she dropped her Motorola too hard and she is now back to the NO kia. We are in the process of switching to Verizon with LG VX3200's. We have no wired line so the cells are important.

My Nokia 5165 is excellent coverage with no reception issues. My wife has a Nokia 3360 - Piece of junk! Reception really bad even 1 mile away from the Tower.
