Good reception in Palos Park and Orland Park. My prior carrier was Cingular. Reception in the house was spotty with dead zones. T-Mobile comes in clearly in all rooms. Spent the weekend at Fox Lake and got 4 to 5 bars everywhere I went. Customer service with T-Mobile is much better than Cingular. I had to call to fix the voice mail on one of the phones. T-Mobile got me to a live competent person DIRECTLY. With Cingular there are multiple layers of buttons to press before getting service. Another pleasant surprise is that T-Mobile live support 24 / 7.
I have had three phones in three weeks, so far none of them work as well as the Cigular service that I had for 10 years. Almost no reception in my home - spoke with reps from were I purchased phone - they said "Sometimes cell phones don't work if it is sunny"?? - did he mean sun spots - or just think that I'm a stupid woman?? Verizon said that the phone could go out of a cell if I moved my head while I was talking - talked without moving my head and lost calls again. Poor service in Palos Park and Heights - friends have similar issues. Wish I spoke with them before I changes service. Now Verizon is going to send out a new phone - after reading all of these messages, I am not hopeful!
