Virgin Mobile back bone's off of Sprint towers, got a rouge tower that Sprint has refused to work on the past 8 years (5 yrs with Sprint as SP, and the last 3 with virgin Mobile) phone works great in most area's but the west side of rockford, wish I had known that Virgin Mobile used Sprint towers and Sprint in general as where they get their service from. Verizon seems to have the best reviews

I use Sprint as my only phone and got NO service in my house. I complained to Sprint hard enough and they sent me "free of charge" there AirRave signal booster. My phone signal and Internet is blazing fast. Other than that, Ive had Verizon..TOO expensive, and there service is NO better than Sprint. Thats MY opinion!

terrible service, T-Mobile wont offer anything to help. cant wait till february to cancel. I pay $70 / mo for this crap, my son has virgin(sprint) $25 / mo and superior... whats wrong with this picture???

Had AT&T 10 years, no (at or near home), to poor connection, bought new phones, 10% better. Fought with them and DID get out of contract! It took several supervisors to get it done but I mentioned I had to drive several miles to get a connection (almost always). Have had Verizon for 7 years and NO problems.

The Bionic is a 4G phone and is super fast. Good reception

Have called and called to no avail. Phone calls drop constantly from home and internet almost never.

I live one block South of E. State between Perryville and Bell School. According to the AT&T map I'm in a "Best Reception" area and I can often see 5 Bars in the house, yet I have so many dropped calls I end-up calling back the caller on our land line. If I sit and watch the bars on the phone they will go from 5 bars to 2 then 4 to 0 and back up to 5 bars. Just for the aggravation I completed a full 20 minute conversation with my sister to see how often it would drop the call. It dropped 6 times in the 20 minutes. I have had AT&T for many years and started getting dropped calls about 2 years ago but it was not all the time. It got worse and worse until I "up graded" our old phones for new thinking I would have better luck with a 3G phone. The new phones seemed a little better but my home reception only became shoddier. I find the service so bad now I am canceling AT&T, paying the ETF on 2 phones and moving to another carrier. Why should I or anyone else pay the high premium cost of AT&T for sub-standard service.

Inside my home I receive 3 bars of service. Inside my basement I receive 2 bars of service. Outside of my home I receive 3-4 bars of service. I have been with ATT since February 2011 and thus-far have had very little to be upset with. I have an ATT WiFi Hot Spot in my home and only subscribe to the ATT 200MB service and have yet to go over the 200MB on the 3G / 4G (H+) network and speaking of never going over, I have never gone over my monthly minutes and am accumulating Roll-Over minutes. Does the service work everywhere? Does anybody's? If you answer yes, then you know you are kidding yourself. When the acquisition is completed with ATT / T-Mobile, which will also include i-Wireless, the GSM network in the U.S. will be the largest 3G / 4G networks in the U.S. beating out VZW and Sprint. New sites are going up weekly for ATT, and I am certain for other carriers as well. If you do not like your carrier, then simply switch to one that provides you with the service you want and or need. I for one am with ATT and thus far am 95% happy even after 90 days into my two-year contract. I would be happier if my employer would strike a deal with ATT for a monthly discount, especially since ATT has a tower adjacent to where I am employed.

So many droped calls,crappy signal,getting ready to switch to a diffrent carrier like t mobile and still waiting on 4g they all say it will be here in april wow what a joke.I would just like to be able to make calls and not worry about losing them.

Crappy signal maybe 1 or 2 bars on Good day getting ready to switch to AT&T or Verizon I have had Sprint Nextel for 14 years and never had it this bad... ...

We were not able to have any reception within the house. If we wanted to make a call, we had to go outside. We didn't know we would receive a phone call until our voicemail would tell us we missed a call because the phone never rang

I use to have full signal within my home and be able to talk in my basement. Starting a month ago, I now am lucky to have even 1 bar of service with 0 in my basement. I do not drop calls unless I am in my basement. However, phone will cut in and out at times

I can't get a signal in my basement. I get dropped frequently upstairs. I have to stand by the windows or go outside. The AT&T signal here is ridiculous. I am seriously considering unlocking my IPhone 4 to get on TMobile's network. My family / friends make fun of me having this expensive high-tech phone, but can't take a phone call without getting dropped.

Love the Iphone. Dont really have any problems with my phone anywhere except at my house. Which is the #1 place u want it to work. Wife has Verizon as I used to have it. It works top notch.

Excellent signal. I can make phone calls even when I'm in the elevator in my apartment building. I'm pretty sure Sprint has a tower downtown. 3G delivers consistent speeds of 2-3 downstream, which is outstanding.

My reception is usually good with the exception of a few dead spots indoors which is due to construction of the property.

I live on the west side of rockford / winnebago and I get phenominal reception EVERYWHERE. I always have. Only time I lose signals is inside the huge steel, insulated shed we have down here. But NO ONE gets any signal in there lol

From '08 til just 2 weeks ago service was poor at best but now suddenly there is zero reception in my home. I miss important phone calls, mail alerts and text messages every day.

Zero on first floor, not usable. Get a 1 on second floor if by a window. Works better outside on west side yard. Had to reinstall land line for reliable service. Was much better a year ago, but service has become much worse this year.

i live off vale and when I am in my house there is NO service! frustrated with a 2 year contract now!
