Nextel service in the Chicago area is horrible. My business has many of these phones and have used Nextel for 5 years. The quality of the network was great up to about a year ago. Now the service is horrible. I often can not get through to my co-workers and we have multiple dropped calls every time any of us talk. We are in a service business and travel all over the chicago area on a daily basis. I can't believe all the dead zones lately. The service has dropped to new all time low levels recently. We are looking to switch to something else. We switched from AT&T about 5 years ago because they were so bad. Nextel is much worse now. I can't take it anymore. My patience and productivity have suffered enough. Take my advice and avoid Nextel in the Chicago area.

The audio is an ongoing issue with AT&T. I finally talked to someone who knew what they were doing at AT&T and told me that it is a known issue when one person can here you and the other cannot. The are also aware of a echo audio issue in many GSM phones. Stick with them and hopefully they will have it fixed?!!?

Works once in awhile, but will go from two bars to dropping calls if you breathe wrong
