	As one of the other comments says, both Sprint and Nextel have "known service holes" that cover most of northern South Beloit and southern Beloit. As of March 2007, neither Nextel nor Sprint has any plans to fix this issue. Reception does get better on the South or East sides of S.Beloit and even out in the boonies on the West side. Shirland (near the river) is terrible and so is the Blackhawk and Gardner area. On any Sprint phone I've had (and I've had a few), I can get a marginal signal that tells me I have a voicemail and then my call gets dropped after (max) 30sec - 1min into the call.

	Very poor reception from this area I only have one bar of signal strength at most times. Most calls go directly to voice mail and not to the phone. If I am lucky enough to place a call it usually disconnects. Very poor service with Verizon in this area.
