I get great reception in Streamwood. In the grocery stores I get great reception. Target, full bars. But Walmart I get no bars, but my Wifes Verizon Droid X works great there. But at Target it is 1-2 bars. My Blackberry is very fast and being I work at AT&T and I have Sprint it is sad. I have had AT&T before and not only is it overpriced, it has slow data and always drops calls. My daughter who is 11 years old hates her iPhone. Sad, my son loves his Blackberry from Sprint. Seems Sprint is the choice to go with.

T-Mobile is horrible. I have had so many problems with them for the past year. I am known as the guy among my friends who has the crappy phone. I am not joking when I say that nearly every call I make on the road drops. I mean about 80%. Customer service told me that it was the phone. I got a different one and there was no change in performance. I hate this horrible company and would recommend them to noone.

You know that little Verizon guy that walks all over the country and asks, "Do you hear me now?" Well, he never came to Streamwood. Verizon's signal strength varies from 3 bars to none in many areas around Streamwood. I walk through my town home and I get dropped calls! And my friends that have U.S. Cellular and Singular get great reception. It's embarrassing to ask your guest if you can use their phone because my Verizon network -- you know them, they're on TV all the time -- are all asleep! Grrr! My next phone? U.S. Cellular KRZR K1m.

Verizon has poor service, with only 1 bar showing, spotty reception, not enough signal strength to properly activate phone. Poor customer service (out of the 10 phone calls made to them in 10 days, only 3 people were competent.

Works great everywhere... only problems with reception is same as problem areas with other providers, only I get better reception than in their 'okay' areas.

Terrible quality for almost all calls made from or near home. Calls are dropped, never dialed, or if completed, quality is so bad that those we are calling can hardly hear us. Verizon replaced our Samsung phones with warranty replacements of the same model but this did not help at all. They tell us that there are no problems with reception in our area and that the Samsung phones are excellent. It is quite maddening.

ATT (GSM) is the worst. I dropped calls every 10 minutes. I am so frustrated. This is my second phone thru warranty exchange. The first phone is dropping calls every 15 minutes. Same old problem with the replacement phone. I gave the AT&T Customer care an earful as I am so frustrated today. They're giving me a third phone as they would not cancel my contract. I have 1.5 more years into it. I'm stuck. That's what they told me. Never again AT&T and Motorola. My other friends who also have AT&T reported the same problem. Dropped calls ang garbled voice on the other line.
