Reception decreases dramatically in my neighborhood which leads to reception too poor to carry on a conversation and dropped calls. I'm waiting out my 2 year contract to switch to whatever provider's towers I pick up when I'm roaming.

There is infact no bars and lot of dropped calls. Have to move to a different provider.

The phone works fine when on road, but conks out unexpectedly when in my Apartment. It works fine some days and some days are totally bad. I have had on an average atleast one dropped call per day IN my apartment since last few months! T-Mobile says the reception in my area is excellent! Maybe its my phone or my apartment building, but I am getting away from the phone and possibly T-mobile. Although I tried Verizon and it does not get full signal in my apartment as well!

Drops calls all the time! Switching to Verizon!

Dundee Rd - either east or west bound from apporx Pfingston to Milwaukee Ave (route21) numerous drop spots and poor spots on both cell or direct connect radio. never had this problem on ATT Wireless (gant phone) Verizon / onstar works great!

I have to stand by the window to talk on my cell. Also, I cannot make calls while driving on Dundee Rd.in Northbrook. I always get a "Call Failed" message on my phone. I called T-Mobile and the said I was in an "Excellent" coverage area. ?? I plan to switch but haven't made up my mind.

I go anywhere near Lake Cook Rd.and Mchenry intersection I get zero reception on my blackberry phone, no matter the model or whether it was AT&T or Cingular as the provider.

Switched from AT&T TDMA to GSM after 45 days of agony I was able to switch back to TDMA. When making calls with a full signal all I would hear is my own voice echoing, the person I was calling could hear me but I was unable to hear them. This happened on approx. 95% of my calls from Wheeling west to South Barrington. I tried my other phone a Nokia 6200 and had the same problem. Lucky enough I am back on the TDMA service and finally able to make an receive calls again. I dont recommend the GSM service to anyone. Check back in another year and thy might have the problem areas fixed. Plus GSM customer care, due to all the problems takes 50 minutes to answer the phone.

Verizon has a good network and surprisingly till now that phone worked well. Sometimes there is lots of hiss when talking with somone on AT&T or Cingular mobile phones.

GSM for one week, so far so good in the North/Northwest suburbs of Chicago
